Don’t mind me. . .

just fooling around with the ol’ bloggy theme tonight.  It might stay like this and it might not.  That’s probably bad for business, but I’m hankering after a change.  I’d love to have a dark or even black background, but I can’t find one that really suits me.  One day I might spring for a bloggy makeover, but since this little hobby o’ mine already takes a lot of my time, I just can’t justify it taking a lot of my money, too.  🙂  We shall see.

What do you think?  Do you like this new theme, or do you like the old one (with the books in the header) better?

  1. I don’t know. I kind of like the rainbow effect for a change. I’ve been messing around with mine, too. I think I’ll keep the autumn one for now, and Ill change to a Christmas-y one in December.

    • Yeah, I like all the tinkering you’ve been doing with yours. I just wish I knew how to really do all this stuff myself, instead of just having to go with the premade frills. 🙂

  2. LOL… I think this is nice for a change, but I really like the one with the books too — so much that I’ve tried to create a few headers in a similar style! Funny that you’re tiring of the look just as I’m emulating it. 🙂 (I’m not doing a very good job, either. But my blundering is helping me to learn a few things for free. I suppose that counts for something.)

The css upgrade would give you more freedom. If I can learn to tinker, anyone can. You can visit the homepages for the different themes and learn about how they work, and play around with the css even without paying for an upgrade. It sure can eat up a lot of time though.

Be back a little later with a Read-Aloud post.

    • I went over to the CSS upgrade page, but I couldn’t make heads or tails of it. I’ll have to invest even more time into it, I see, to figure something out. 🙂 Thanks for the encouragement, though, Janet. I appreciate it!
