On the Sixth Day of Christmas. . .

The girls and I took a little field trip Thursday to the local art center.  This art center hosts an annual parade of trees.  Different individuals or organizations decorate the live cedar trees each year.  I was delighted by the Nativity tree yesterday, and I found it even more delightful because it was decorated by the mother of one of my dearest friends from high school.  The above Nativity is actually inside the tree.  They had cut out some of the branches and nestled this lovely scene right inside.  I will have to remember next year to make this an annual tradition.
