We made a little grocery run tonight after church to pick up a few things we were totally out of. I also took advantage of a local grocery store’s sale on Philadelphia cream cheese for 79 cents by comp-adding (ading?) it at Wal-Mart. We spent $24.33 at Wal-Mart, which brings us to a total of $160.68 for the month. I know we’ll probably have to buy a few more things this week, but I hope I can pull some meat that I purchased on sale from the freezer to see us through this week and help us avoid any huge expenditures. We’ll see. Keeping up with this has been a great exercise for us if for no other reason than to make us more mindful of what we buy.
