Between last night and today, we have managed to shop at five different stores for groceries. This includes hitting both Walgreen’s and Target for their bargains, as well as Aldi and Wal-Mart for regular grocery shopping. These five trips have cost a total of $74.39 together, which brings our monthly total to $136.35. I really doubt that we make our $200 goal, but at least this will give us a true idea of where we stand. Bargain hunting is killing our budget!

That sounds prety darn good to me! I just went to Albertson’s and spent 30 dollars (but saved like 45, so it’s all good) and then dropped 120 at Walmart.
I need to get back into couponing…that’s for sure!
Bargain hunting is a lot of work. Just keep in mind all the cash you’ve saved!
Wow, There is no way I could even dream of spending only $200/month for groceries — for my family of three. Please explain more — or maybe I need to search through previous posts.
We loved the curried chicken chowder and are having the leftovers tonight.
Can you do Christmas dinner in that budget?
If I could learn to do this (spend less on food and cleaning supplies)….. I can’t even imagine.
