Steady Eddie and I attended our church’s Christmas banquet last night, and we took advantage of the few child-free hours to do a little bagain hunting at CVS. We purchased $5.40 worth of grocery items there, and then we headed over to Target to stock up on Steady Eddie’s favorite cereal. We spent $5.67 there on three boxes of cereal there. Our total spending last night was $11.07, for a to-date monthly total of $61.96. Things aren’t looking so great for my $200 budget, although I do have hope because some of what was purchased last night was for Christmas goodies, so I hope I will be able to pull much of my Christmas baking ingredients out of my pantry instead of having to make multiple trips to the grocery store for them.
